Artists Choosing Judaism
August 18 – December 19, 2025
Dr. Bernard Heller Museum in NYC
Opening: Thursday, September 18

Hendrickson will be showcasing two of her pieces: Tree (EHTS) and Orange (kah-TOHM). These works are part of her Revealed Faith series, which you can explore further on her website.

Her work explores the tension between concealing and revealing identity, inspired by the history of Crypto-Jews who secretly practiced their faith to survive. Through partially hidden Hebrew words embedded in abstract drawings, The artist reflects on how we all mask parts of ourselves—and invite viewers to consider what they choose to reveal.

Continuing this tradition, 502 gallery is pleased to present its third installment of the popular exhibition “Shopliftable,” featuring miniature artworks (small enough to steal) by 50 artists.
