Extracting from personal triumphs and tragedies, I make work that is an emotional response to lived experiences. Life’s frustrations, joys, and fears are embedded into my abstract sculptures, drawings, and installations through provocative use of materials including; pantyhose, spandex, porcelain, and found home furnishings. Through my bulbous, soft sculptures, domestically focused installations and collages I explore themes of sensuality, emotional struggle and loss.
