Artist Howard Schwartz is inspired by figures from his own family’s past. He integrates into his art an amalgam of mixed aqueous media, collage, and occasionally found objects. The end product was recently described by a curator of a gallery that exhibited his work as, “a delicate balance of beautiful color, bold texture, experimentation, and a personal message”.
