“My figurative oil paintings subvert the tradition of objectified female nudes that persists in contemporary painting today. These works explore the breadth of the female experience and the complicated relationship we have with our physical selves. These paintings are not trendy; they don’t contain pop culture appeal. They are deep ruminations about living life in our fleshy bodies everyday.”
