Old Town Art Fair, begun in 1950, is among the oldest art fairs in the country. It was created by the Old Town Triangle Association to draw attention to the charm of the neighborhood. Over the years many changes have been made and it has developed into one of the nationally most highly regarded art fairs. It should not be confused with the Wells Street Art Festival held nearby on the same weekend.
