The Statewide: Illinois Artist Showcase, which debuted in 2022, was originally created in response to the discontinuation of the professional art exhibit at the Illinois State Fair. This showcase highlights the work of talented professional artists, aged 21 and above, who are living and working in Illinois.
South Shore Arts 81st Salon Show

The exhibit will take place at the Center for Visual & Performing Arts. The Awards Ceremony will take place on Sunday, October 6, 1–3pm
The Salon Show is a tradition that has defined South Shore Arts since its inception in the late 1930s, when ten Hammond and Calumet City artists sponsored the first annual Art Exhibition of the Hammond District Art Association in the millinery department of the Minas Department Store in Downtown Hammond.
