Creativity is an ongoing process. It’s about reaching, stretching, and experimenting to bring the concept to reality. For many years I worked in the art of Constructivism with metals for indoor and outdoor installations in public and private spaces.
My first series after metals, “Reflections in Neon,” was a major move for me. I combined the use of neon with plexiglass. Designing with these organic and architectural materials created brilliant colors and patterns that change with every angle. In my second series I captured and manipulated the vivid colors and patterns from my sculptures into vibrant two-dimensional moments.
In my current series, “Reflection in Nature,” I’m playing with sunlight streaming through the multi-colored plexiglass of my sculpture in order to compose the brilliant shapes of color onto nature as reflected by nature’s own elegant creators.
