“With each series of works, I try to unlock what seems to be random ideas or story lines into a body of work that is more and more expansive in scale and complexity. Currently my work revolves around the ideas of home and house. The art centers around the simple shape of a house which supports endless possibilities for creativity. Using graphite, paint, wood, and plastic, I challenge myself to explore different opportunities with each of these types of media. As the art develops, new stories and directions happen.”
